Privacy Notice
Dad Radar is built to help a household follow a traveling family member. This notice explains how the current Dad Radar family beta handles information.
What Dad Radar accesses
When you choose to connect Google Calendar, Dad Radar accesses the calendar events you authorize. It uses schedule details needed to identify a planned trip, such as event titles, dates, times, airport or route information, and notes you choose to include.
How that information is used
Dad Radar uses authorized calendar details only to build the household’s flight schedule and show relevant trip status on its private display. It may combine that schedule context with flight-status information from flight-data providers.
Where information is stored
The current family beta runs on a privately controlled home computer. Its Calendar authorization and local Dad Radar configuration are stored on that computer for the purpose of keeping the display connected. This public website does not collect Calendar data, provide user accounts, or use advertising analytics.
Sharing and sale
Dad Radar does not sell Calendar information, use it for advertising, or share it with unrelated third parties. Google Calendar data is accessed through Google’s authorized API connection. Flight-status providers receive only the requests necessary to obtain flight information.
Your choices
You may disconnect Dad Radar from Google Calendar at any time by revoking Dad Radar’s access in your Google Account or by removing its local configuration from the home computer. A new authorization is required to reconnect it.
Children
Dad Radar is a household display, not a children’s account service. It does not knowingly create accounts for or collect personal information directly from children.
